Registration

To apply to participate in the Summer School, please send a single .pdf document to IMTLuccaheritagesummerschool@gmail.com containing:


  • CV
    The CV should not exceed two pages in length and should highlight educational and professional activities that in the applicant’s opinion make them best placed to actively participate in the Summer School.

  • A Cover Letter
    The cover letter should explain the applicant’s interest in the Summer School, including how the Summer School is particularly relevant to the applicant’s current and future professional activities or scholarship. Applicants are particularly encouraged to share any questions they have which they hope will be answered about Italian law and U.S. law during the Summer School. The cover letter may also spotlight an interest in certain institutions in Lucca, Italy and share ideas for the applicant’s future engagement with Italian and/or American cultural institutions.

FEE

The registration fee for the Summer School is 260 €.

The registration fee covers access to all classes, onsite visits, and three lunches on June 6th, 7th, and 8th.

For participants from the United States or from outside Lucca, Italy, IMT School for Advanced Studies is able to arrange accommodations for four nights for an additional charge. Participants who select this option will be hosted within the IMT School for Advanced Studies campus in the renovated Renaissance convent complex of San Francesco within Lucca’s historic center or in a designated hotel, depending on availability. Both options include accommodations in single rooms; no accommodations under either option are shared.

PAYMENT INFORMATION

Payment of fees in Euros (€) can be made by bank transfer. No registration will be confirmed until payment is received. All the bank details will be available after applicants have been notified of their acceptance.

CANCELLATION / REFUND POLICY

In order to keep registration fees as low as possible, there will be no refunds in cases of cancellation. However, accepted applicants who have to cancel their participation may substitute another delegate at no extra cost.
